Week 2 Recap vs. Tri-County Fighting Sprites
During Week 2 The Sprites came prepared and on the opening drive scored the first points of the game. Ravens D were doing the best eventually holding them inside their own 20 which lead to a punt. Roland Whitley lined up deep to return the ball. Knowing the Ravens needed a score Whtley took the punt 43 yds to the house for a Ravens TD. The Ravens Special teams and Defense played outstanding while the offense was slow to start. The utilized wide out Josh Huff which some plays later resulted in the endzone with a 25 yd catch which put "Norwalk" in position to for the 2 points. The Ravens went in ending the first half with the lead14-6.
As the second Half started Qb Jamal Vines took control of the offense were the Ravens would eventually score at will. Jamal Vines scored a red zone TD along with Rashad Lee.Sharing some of that Qb action was Scott McDonald who found Wr wayne allen with a 60 yd bomb. Vic Parsely got the 2 points after the score. Offense would not take all of the spotlight putting up points as Cb Tasheem Carney came off with spectacular interception which the Sprites could avoid. Carney took the interception 74 yards down the sideline for another Ravens Touchdown.
